Join us on Thursday 16 July, 1pm to 4pm

It has been one year since we opened the doors to the Resilience Therapy Centre, and we would love you to join us as we mark this important milestone.

On Thursday 16 July, we are hosting a relaxed open afternoon for referrers, stakeholders, professional colleagues, families and friends of Resilience.

There will be cake, refreshments, and the chance to meet our team, tour the centre, and hear more about how specialist neurorehabilitation has helped change lives over the last year.

One year of specialist neurorehabilitation in Warwickshire

When we opened the Resilience Therapy Centre, our aim was to make high-quality, personalised neurorehabilitation more accessible to people living with the effects of neurological injury, illness and complex trauma. Over the last year, we have supported people with a wide range of needs, including brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Functional Neurological Disorder, post-concussion symptoms, amputation and complex physical injuries.

Every person’s journey has been different. Some people have focused on walking, balance and strength. Others have worked on hand and arm function, communication, confidence, independence, daily routines or returning to meaningful activities.

What connects every programme is our belief that rehabilitation should be personal, purposeful and built around the goals that matter most to the individual.

What to expect at our 1st Birthday Open Afternoon

Our open afternoon is a chance to see what Resilience looks like one year on.

You will be able to:

  • Meet our specialist interdisciplinary team
  • Tour the Resilience Therapy Centre
  • See our neurotechnology, therapy gym and private treatment spaces
  • Learn more about the people we support
  • Understand how our referral process works
  • Ask questions about assessment, therapy programmes, reporting and costs
  • Find out how we work with case managers, solicitors, clinicians, insurers, families and self-referring clients

Our team includes specialists in neuro physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, neuropsychology, dietetics and rehabilitation medicine. Together, we provide tailored rehabilitation at the centre, at home and in the community.

Combining expert therapy with advanced neurotechnology

The Resilience Therapy Centre brings together experienced clinicians and advanced rehabilitation technology in one accessible setting.

Our technology supports detailed assessment, targeted therapy and clear outcome tracking. It includes robotic-assisted gait training, upper limb robotics, functional electrical stimulation, motion analysis, balance systems and supported movement training.

This technology does not replace expert therapy. It strengthens it.

By combining hands-on clinical expertise with real-time data and specialist equipment, we can shape therapy programmes around each person’s needs, goals and progress.

Who can refer?

We welcome referrals from:

  • Case managers
  • Solicitors
  • Clinicians
  • Therapists
  • Insurers
  • Charities and support organisations
  • Families
  • Individuals seeking rehabilitation for themselves

A GP referral is not needed to access our services.

Following referral, we take time to understand the person’s needs and goals before recommending the most appropriate assessment or therapy programme. We keep communication clear, provide costings where needed, and offer progress reporting for professional referrers.
