On Friday 11 July, we proudly opened the doors of the Resilience Therapy Centre – our brand-new, neurorehabilitation facility at Abbey Park in Warwickshire.
We were joined by clinicians, local leaders, case managers, referring professionals, and international partners, including Stefano Marcandelli, CEO and Founder of Tecnobody, who came to experience our vision for themselves. Everyone had the chance to try out the advanced equipment, meet our expert team, and see our approach to personalised, technology-led therapy in action.
We were honoured to have Councillor Naveen Tangri, Chairman of Warwick District Council, with us to cut the ribbon and declare the centre officially open. In his words,
“This new centre is a truly innovative resource for people across Warwickshire and the wider Midlands, offering life-changing rehabilitation for those recovering from serious injury or living with complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions and bringing together advanced neurotechnology and expert clinical care.”
Many of our guests told us it was the first time they’d seen robotics, motion analysis systems, and sensor-based equipment of this calibre available in a community setting. They had the chance to explore tools such as the Lexo robotic gait trainer, Amadeo finger-hand therapy device, D-Wall Elite, and Walker View – all now available as part of our therapy programmes.
As our Clinical Director Michelle Kudhail put it, this launch is a turning point.
“For too long, advanced technology and expert-led therapy have only been available in some inpatient or private hospital settings. The Resilience Therapy Centre changes that. We’re giving people across the Midlands the tools, support and specialist input they need to make real progress. This milestone marks the beginning of a new era in community-based rehabilitation – and we’re just getting started.”
We’ve built the Resilience Therapy Centre to be open to everyone – whether you’re seeking support for yourself, referring on behalf of someone else, or coordinating care as a solicitor or case manager. You don’t need a GP referral. Our referral process is straightforward and responsive, with no long waiting lists.
People attending the centre may be recovering from stroke, traumatic brain or spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, FND, post-concussion syndrome, or other complex neurological or musculoskeletal conditions. Every programme is tailored and data-led, integrating hands-on expertise with the very best technology available.
