This autumn, we were proud to officially launch Resilience Neuro Specialists at the UKABIF Summit 2024. It was a fantastic day meeting others in the neurorehabilitation field and sharing what we do.
The UKABIF Summit 2024: A Day of Collaboration and Innovation
The UKABIF Summit brought together experts, professionals, and people with lived experience of acquired brain injuries. We loved the chance to introduce Resilience Neuro Specialists and explain our plans for providing personalised, cutting-edge neurorehabilitation in the Midlands.
Throughout the day, our team engaged with attendees, discussing the tailored, interdisciplinary approach that sets Resilience Neuro Specialists apart. We were so pleased by the positive reception to our plans for the Resilience Recovery Centre, which will offer cutting-edge therapy programmes underpinned by advanced movement analysis technology. It was inspiring to hear from so many professionals who share our commitment to delivering meaningful rehabilitation outcomes.
One of the highlights of the day was hearing directly from experts by experience—people sharing their journeys with brain injury recovery. Their stories were a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
Our Clinical Director, Michelle Kudhail, remarked,
“The UKABIF Summit was a fantastic opportunity to showcase what Resilience Neuro Specialists stands for. We’ve worked hard to develop a service that not only addresses the complexities of neurodisability but also places the individual’s goals and aspirations at the heart of every rehabilitation plan.”
The evening before the summit, our founders gathered for a networking dinner with fellow attendees and key stakeholders in the neurorehabilitation sector. The dinner provided an informal setting to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build connections with those dedicated to advancing care for individuals with neurological injuries.

The event was a wonderful way to kickstart our launch activities, setting the tone for collaboration and innovation that would continue into the summit the following day. Our Business Development Director, Alastair White, highlighted the importance of collaboration in shaping the future of neurorehabilitation:
“Events like the UKABIF Summit demonstrate the strength of this community. By working together, we can push boundaries, embrace innovation, and ensure that every individual affected by a neurological injury has access to the care they deserve.”
The summit was a big success, and we’re grateful for the warm reception from everyone we met. Hearing about others’ work and sharing our own plans was inspiring. If you’d like to learn more about our services or make a referral, please get in touch. We’re excited to work together to make a real difference in neurorehabilitation.
