Lisa Lacey is a Specialist Neuro Physiotherapy Assistant with 10 years of experience, including three years in the NHS and seven years at Tees Neuro Physiotherapy. She takes a compassionate, encouraging and person-centred approach to rehabilitation, making time to understand each client’s individual needs, goals and abilities. She works closely with clients, their families and the wider multidisciplinary team, helping people feel safe, respected and motivated throughout their rehabilitation.
Lisa supports clients to build confidence, independence and functional ability at a pace that is right for them. She is particularly motivated by the difference that consistent rehabilitation can make to everyday life, recognising that small improvements can have considerable personal meaning. Whether someone feels more confident with movement or can complete a daily task more independently, Lisa values the progress that helps them work towards their own priorities. She draws inspiration from her clients’ determination and resilience and finds it rewarding to support them as they pursue goals that matter to them.
Outside work, Lisa enjoys walking her dogs, spending time with her children and catching up with family and friends. Family life and time outdoors are important to her, and she enjoys making the most of opportunities to be with loved ones.
