Jayne Rudd is a physiotherapist who qualified at Teesside University in July 2025. She brings previous experience as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor to her work in neurological rehabilitation. Her background combines an interest in physical activity with a commitment to helping people improve their quality of life and regain independence.
Jayne takes a caring and positive approach to working with clients. She is motivated by seeing small steps develop into meaningful milestones, recognising the difference progress can make to everyday life. Her treatment approaches include hydrotherapy, Pilates-based therapy, gait re-education, manual therapy and postural management. She has also completed the first introductory Bobath weekend module. Her clinical work includes supporting people with stroke, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.
Outside work, Jayne enjoys outdoor activities, particularly hiking and paddleboarding. She has completed a 200-mile charity cycle from Edinburgh to Tynemouth, raising funds for a charity that helps people with disabilities participate in sport. This reflects her enthusiasm for physical activity and her interest in helping people access opportunities to take part.
