Resilience Neuro Specialists is expanding its specialist neurorehabilitation services into the North East, joining forces with established rehabilitation provider Tees Neuro to offer greater access to expert therapy, advanced neurotechnology and personalised rehabilitation.
We are delighted to announce that Tees Neuro has joined Resilience Neuro Specialists, bringing together two experienced teams with a shared commitment to helping people rebuild their lives following neurological injury or illness.
The partnership marks an exciting new chapter for both organisations, creating a growing network of specialist outpatient and community neurorehabilitation services across the Midlands, North East and North Yorkshire.
From 1 November 2026, the two services will work together as Resilience Neuro Warwickshire and Resilience Neuro Tees, combining their clinical knowledge, resources and expertise while maintaining the personal, locally led approach that clients and referrers value.
Building on eight years of specialist rehabilitation in the North East
Established in 2018, Tees Neuro has developed a strong reputation for delivering personalised neurological physiotherapy and rehabilitation from its therapy centre in Billingham, alongside community-based support across the North East and North Yorkshire.
Now known as Resilience Neuro Tees, the service will continue under the clinical leadership of Victoria MacGregor, supported by the same experienced team.
For existing clients, case managers and solicitors, appointments, referral contacts and relationships will remain unchanged.
Victoria MacGregor, Clinical Director of Resilience Neuro Tees, explains:
“This is really positive news for our team and for the people we support. We have worked hard over the last eight years to build a service that is personal, ambitious and rooted in the needs of our local community. Case managers, solicitors and clients will still work with the Tees team they know and trust, but with the added strength of the wider Resilience network behind us.”
Greater access to specialist neurorehabilitation and technology
The partnership brings together two services that share a belief in combining expert hands-on therapy with innovative rehabilitation technology.
Across the growing Resilience network, clients can access specialist support including:
- Neurological physiotherapy and occupational therapy
- Interdisciplinary rehabilitation for complex neurological conditions
- Consultant-led rehabilitation medicine
- Intensive outpatient rehabilitation programmes
- Rehabilitation following brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke
- Specialist support for Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
- Advanced rehabilitation technology, including robotics, gait analysis and functional electrical stimulation
Services and equipment vary between locations, with rehabilitation programmes developed around each individual’s needs, abilities and personal goals.
For case managers and serious injury solicitors, the partnership also means greater access to specialist clinical expertise, additional rehabilitation capacity and opportunities for collaboration between the two teams.
An exciting milestone for Resilience Neuro Specialists
The expansion follows the opening of the Resilience Therapy Centre at Abbey Park, Warwickshire, in July 2025.
In just over a year, Resilience has grown from its first specialist therapy centre into a two-region network, bringing together experienced clinicians, rehabilitation specialists and advanced neurotechnology.
Michelle Kudhail, Clinical Director of Resilience Neuro Specialists, said:
“When we opened the Resilience Therapy Centre in Warwickshire last year, our aim was to make high-quality, technology-supported neurorehabilitation more accessible outside hospital settings. To be expanding into a second region just one year later is an important milestone for us.
We both believe rehabilitation should be personal, ambitious and built around what matters to each individual. By coming together, we can offer referrers greater depth and capacity while protecting the clinical leadership, relationships and local knowledge that already make both services strong.”
Looking ahead
As Resilience Neuro Specialists continues to grow, our priority remains unchanged: delivering high-quality, personalised neurorehabilitation that helps people achieve meaningful progress and greater independence.
Both teams will continue to develop their services, share expertise and explore new opportunities to support people with complex neurological rehabilitation needs.
