Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist Michelle Kudhail is one of the founders and the Clinical Director of Resilience Neuro Specialists. She graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 1991 and holds an MSc-level qualification in Injectors Therapy, specialising in Botulinum Toxin. Michelle is also qualified in Non-Medical Prescribing and has received advanced training in Gait Analysis. With over 33 years of experience, including 20 years in the NHS and 13 years in the independent sector, she is a leading specialist in neurological physiotherapy.
Michelle adopts a goal-focused and functional approach, aiming to increase her clients’ independence and enhance their participation in daily activities. She provides a wide range of physiotherapy services both in clinics and via home visits, primarily across the Midlands.
In addition to her clinical work, Michelle has spoken at international conferences and provides training to post-graduate therapists. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing and spending time with her dog, Cosmo.

Suzi takes a client-centred approach, tailoring her interventions to each individual’s needs. She is passionate about helping clients regain independence, whether through functional task training, cognitive rehabilitation, upper limb therapy, or environmental modifications. Her work also includes fatigue management, return-to-work programmes, assistive technology integration, and sleep management. Suzi is committed to helping clients achieve their rehabilitation goals and rediscover independence in their daily lives.

Dr Ali provides consultant-led neurorehabilitation input for complex cases, ensuring safe, outcome-focused medical oversight within personalised rehabilitation programmes. His clinical expertise includes spasticity assessment and management, ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections, intrathecal baclofen test dosing, intrathecal phenol procedures, and detailed postural and tone assessment.
He supports patients living with acquired brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, neurodegenerative conditions and prolonged disorders of consciousness, delivering structured, consultant-led rehabilitation within coordinated multidisciplinary pathways. Dr Ali has particular experience in rehabilitation following major trauma, management of prolonged disorders of consciousness, and addressing medical complexity within both inpatient and outpatient neurorehabilitation pathways. His work strengthens coordinated care across the interdisciplinary team, supporting functional progress and long-term independence.
Alongside his rehabilitation practice, Dr Ali holds consultant roles within General Internal Medicine and contributes to education, clinical governance, audit and research. Currently, she divides her time between the Community Multiple Sclerosis Rehabilitation Team (CMSRT) and the CERU Out-Patient Neuro-Rehabilitation Team (COPNT), delivering care to clients with complex needs.
